Rhett & Link are comedians best-known for their internet videos. With over 200 web videos produced the duo have received over 90 million views.  Their original T-Shirt War video is very entertaining, so much so that McDonalds wanted one of their own. They have done comic commerical videos for other brands including Coke, Dentyne Gum and Cadillac as well as small local businesses too. Love the music on the original vid too.

Paintshop studios graffiti wall art for island records

London based graffiti company Paintshop Studio has teamed up with Island Records to create some very interesting street art. The talented team will produce a new piece each month, dedicated to one of Island Records artists displayed on the walls of the Silver Bullet Bar, a popular live music venue near Finsbury Parks station in the city. Their first featured artist was PJ Harvey, where the studio's artists Dep and Tizer recreated the album cover for her critically acclaimed record 'Let England Shake.' Their latest is hip hop phenomenon Nicki Minaj, with the sassy singer portrayed in a vivid futuristic cityscape. We think this is a great example of creative collaborations between small visionary design houses and the big corporate guns, showcasing the work of graffiti artists whilst cleverly advertising the latest music offerings.

Sydney homeless animal ad campaign

It is not unusual to see large outdoor ad campaigns for the homeless, however in Sydney attention is turning to animals that need a home. Created by ad agency M&C Saatchi for the Sydney Dogs & Cats Home, 21 photographers participated in the project photographing 63 animals that need homes. The ads will be featured on Adshel bus shelters across the city from the 23rd May, with the outdoor agency donating $200,000 of advertising space and everyone else involved gave their time for free. A Limited Edition exhibition of signed prints will also be available for auction. Great idea which could easily be rolled out across other cities.

MTV Brazil have recently showed a pretty cool ad featuring lots of balloons illustrating moving pictures. Seemingly balloons were fastened onto a 200 metre long rail and lined up via laser guide. To create the moving picture effect 10 balloons were popped per second or 600 balloons per minutes. Shot by ad agency Loducca the video explains it better but it is a clever idea and you can just about catch a few musicians in there too.
