Talk about brand extension and it is a stretch! DJ Pauly D from Jersey Shore is venturing into retail with his 'Remix Pre-Game Cocktails'. Prices at $14.99 for a 750ml bottle the pre-made cocktails come in 4 flavours - Oye Mojito, Strawberry Holla-peno, Yeah Yumberry and Starfruit. The rationale behind the move according to Pauly D is the similarity between mixing on the turntables and that needed for cocktails ... no words!!

Frozen Foam Keeps Beer Chilled

Japanese brewer Kirin has developed a unique way to keep draft beer nice and chilled for up to 30mins. Air is blown into the beer as it is stirred, cooled to minus 5 degrees Celsius and served with a foam head that ensures the drink remains cold. Unsure of whether the foam head disappears or not gradually or whether it would be annoying to drink through it but this is a great concept and will launch in Toyko in May.

What a morbid but truly interesting idea from Seattle-based design firm Electric Coffin Supply Co. They work with a variety of artists to develop art coffins. A few years ago they decided to take the idea on tour, aptly named 'Boxes of Death' which showcases these miniature art coffins in various places in the USA. The success of the annual show has seen the tour increase the number of participating artists and fan base.
