The P-Tree will certainly kick start a few interesting conversations. The brainchild of Dutch design firm AANDEBOOM these temporary tree-friendly urinals simply strap to trees and are targeted at large events to reduce and some how make more respectable public peeing by men. The P-Tree is also meant to offer opportunities to event organisers to become more environmentally responsible as the P-Tree can be hooked up to central sewage system or connected to a tank with a pump. However we are unsure how this actually works and how difficult it would be to organise. According to the company the P-Tree was a success at the Roskilde music festival in Denmark. It remains to be seen whether this will take off due to a number of factors including whether guys would use it, whether the P-Tree would actually stay in tact for the duration of a lively festival and whether it is a cost event organisers would take on. Regardless it is an interesting concept.
